Stefan Maria Jung
I have been working as an architect for over 30 years. My profession is my passion. My designs are emotional, because every building, every room has a shape. A story. A function. An attraction. I search. For materials. For surfaces. For light and colour. I look for a room’s very own messages. This creates a feeling for the place. Its surroundings. The people who live there. My associated task as an architect.
Whether architecture, interior design, design development or garden landscaping – tension is reflected in my designs. Between old and new. Sensual and sober. Natural and designed. Together with my team, I create scope to revitalize existing substance with new impulses.
Nothing is impossible. In my studio, I search for solutions myself. In architecture, in art and in music. With great passion. Durable materials. New shapes. Unusual surfaces. Emotion. Energy. Relaxation. The right combination reveals the character. I design sculptures in my free time. I give materials such as marble or wood new forms. My design reveals a new message of the material. With the trumpet and the cello, I trace the actual feeling of music. I create spaces to express thoughts and feelings. Three dimensions. In architecture. In art. In music.
Back to building: Creative planning is followed by structural execution. Only in-depth knowledge of handcraft provides an understanding of construction and statics. Outstanding quality and precision only arise from the diligence of craftsmanship: Sampling for the client. Site inspections. Discussions. Only in exchange with good craftsmen does the real form emerge. It is only through intensive on-site discussions that something special develops. Last but not least, there is also the tension of combining financial and technical constraints with this task.
Our goal is achieved when the building radiates. When the space welcomes visitors with its individual atmosphere. And, of course, when the client is happy. That goes without saying. Talk to us!
